I come from a musical family so I´ve always had music in my blood.
My father was the leading member of a pretty known rock band in the 60´s called The Panthers.
My two older brothers have both been involved in and written music for various bands over the years. My oldest brother Tommy has been a proffesional musician/producer for many years, and today we are working together with Angtoria! This is the first time I´ve worked with Tommy artistically even though we´ve done several recordings together in the past, and I must say that it´s a shame we havn´t done it before since we have a lot of fun and work extremely well together.
Even though still very close to music, my other brother Michael isn´t an active musician today simply due to lack of time.
My little sister Victoria has also always loved music and been playing various instruments, but she´s never been officially active in the music business.
I started my musical journey at around 13 when I got my first guitar. Instead of learning how to play by playing songs that already existed, I thought it would be more fun to write songs myself and play them instead, so I did.
A short while after I formed my first band along with some friends from school.
I´ve always been very interested in and influenced by classical and orchestral music, so I borrowed a small keyboard from a friend and decided to learn how to play it so I could add piano and strings etc. to my songs. After a while of playing I started composing entire songs on the keyboard.
I played in and was involved in various bands and in -95 I co-formed metal act Abyssos with Söderlund and Meidal. We released two albums on the english record label Cacophonous. |
